2. Data We Collect

When using DC-Bot, the following data is processed:

• Discord user ID (public)
• Discord username and avatar
• Server ID and server name
• Message content (only for command processing, not permanently stored)
• Ticket content and transcripts (only if ticket system is enabled)
• Moderation actions and reasons
• XP and level data
• Economy data (points, transactions)

3. Purpose of Processing

Data is used exclusively to provide bot functionality:

• Providing moderation, level, ticket and economy features
• Dashboard authentication via Discord OAuth2
• Storage of server configurations
• Creation of moderation logs

4. Discord OAuth2 Login

When logging in via Discord, the following data is transmitted by Discord: user ID, username, avatar, email address (if shared) and server memberships. This data is used for authentication and permission verification. For more information, see Discord Privacy Policy

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure servers in Germany. Transmission occurs exclusively via encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. SSH credentials are AES-256 encrypted.

6. Third-Party Sharing

Your data is not sold or shared with third parties. Disclosure only occurs where legally required.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

• Access – You can request information about your stored data at any time
• Rectification – Incorrect data can be corrected
• Erasure – You can request deletion of your data
• Objection – You can object to processing
• Portability – You can request your data in a standard format

8. Cookies

The dashboard uses technically necessary cookies for session management (login session) and language settings. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

9. Right to Complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. The competent authority is the State Representative for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
